Re: Prediction: 6.0 or greater in CA Bay Area |
Hi Canie, I have a couple of reasons. The first is the 6.0M quake off the coast of Oregon on July 9th on the Juna de Fuca ridge. I believe this freed up the Mindocino fracture zone to relieve stress built up in the Bay area. Also, earthquake tracker was indicating unusual ELF anomolies at four sites in the Bay region, (but after checking back today I see the sites are not very active.) I'm not sure I can trust the data on earthquake trackers sites anymore, but I felt I should post the warning anyway.
