Mobile home heaters

Well...one advantage of living in a mobile home, especially in Hollister, is that when the next big quake comes rolling through there there won't be a lot of structure to collapse on top of you.

Hard to believe your town didn't have those tie down straps. Is this symptomatic of the whole state of CA regarding easy access to stuff to prepare for quakes ? It sure doesn't sound too good.

Well, let's see...during the next 7+ (where the ground may move up to 15 feet + (I think)...that turkey may not budge but the whole shooting match might.... On the good side though, you probably have a gas-line auto shutoff valve....

How many homes are mobile in that area ? I would imagine a lot just being in quake country....

I'll bet the number of people with tents and camping gear is high too....

Take care
