Parkfield, An Experience

Hi All. I thought maybe some of you would like to see what it is about Parkfield that draws Petra and I there. Most of you think it’s because Petra wants to feel an earthquake, but that is only part of it. There is a quiet peaceful feeling there that seems out of place with it’s reputation as being the “Earthquake Capital Of The World.”

The pace there is slow and sort of laid back. For the most part the people there are friendly, but at the same time do not welcome you with open arms. I must admit that is isn’t a place where most people would enjoy visiting. There isn’t anything to do there and not much to see. No TV in the rooms at the Parkfield Inn. No telephones either except for a pay phone across the road from the Inn.

Anyway here is a link to Parkfield. It’s short on words and long on pictures so you don’t have to do much reading. It’s also good for those who can’t read. Take Care…Don in creepy town
