Interesting.

Sounds like Jim Bergland-like but inverted a bit (quakes during low-tide versus high-tide).

Maybe the superheated steam venting is analogous to the quakes going on at geothermal power sites (e.g. Geysers).

Tolstoy is bound to rack up some more interesting papers since she is working so close to new data.

However, just maybe some micro-quakes are a different animal altogether than those around volcanic areas....
