Hi All, Boy oh boy, the Momento Mori Seismo was going absolutely crazy earier this evening. It would have taken a lot to drag me away from the computer screen as it was quite unreal. I've watched it I think about 1000 viewing hours over the years and yet tonight, it surprised me. It was delivering great energy swoops down from the north, then reversing up from the south and at moments the lines traveling across the screen were going at lightning speed and in every configuration imaginable. I was starting to wonder if it was broken and then it resumed its normal display pattern. Very odd indeed. Of course while watching it I'm always prepared and hoping of course to catch an earthquake while is occurring, but tonight I got aced out. But it gave me pause to think about those folks who have never had the quake experience. So I was thinking about how to describe it and the only thing I could say is that when you feel the first rolling motion, jiggle or jolt you rather hold your breath like being in a roller coaster, just cresting at the top and then wondering how scary is it going to be when its starts its decent. You never know, you see, as each and every single quake you feel is as individual as all of us are. Though some of you can't be here to enjoy the quake experience with the rest of us, I'm attaching the link to Momento Mori, the truly live seismo and maybe if you're lucky, you'll catch a quake while its happening.
