There is a research group at Osaka University in Japan which I suspect may have done as much research on animal sensitivity to approaching earthquakes as needs to be done. In view of the fact that there is always some interest in this subject matter I think that it would probably be a good idea if the reports were summarized at some Internet Web site. I have not yet seen them myself. Most appear to be available in English.
