Hi Petra. The 1.7Md quake on 05/27/2002 appears to have occurred about 3 miles south of the Bolinas quake on an unrelated fault.

There are two unnamed faults in the area of the 1.7Md quake. One fault is a north/south trending fault and the other is east/west. Neither one appears to be a major fault as they are only a couple of miles long. At least that is what the fault map indicates. Take Care…Don in creepy town
