Hi 2 cents,
I travel light when I move, which means most of what I have is tossed or given away before moving. A fresh start is good for the soul.
I do have links to the outside world here, but need to get my computer set up for answering the various questions regarding statistics etc. which arise on this board. Would prefer not to get involved in that again until am settled in.
The one thing I have discovered over they years is that when you move you should never expect anything that worked in the old venue to work in the new. That is being reinforced in this
venture.
By the way, I posted a bibliography of some papers on the relation between solar/geomagnetic activity several months ago on this board. I do not have my bibliographies up and running yet, but a good place to start if anyone is interested in this subject is a paper by (Robert?) Simpson relating solar activity to earthquakes - this is a statistical paper with some speculation at the end. The paper was published in "Earth and Planetary Letters" in 1967 or 1968. It is a classic on the subject and his data has never been shown to be in error (at
least as far as I am aware).
