It is most odd how just before or during local quakes, I finally can sleep for long periods. I am wondering if anyone has an explanation for that? I will go days only sleeping for short periods and then suddenly be able to sleep lots. Sometimes I miss them, but this one was very close to me and happened to wake me with a noise before the jolt. Then I was awake for the aftershock.
