An impartial statistician has investigated the statistics of the forecasts published
by this group and presented a paper at an international meeting on statistical
seismology stating that the techniques being used were highly significant in a
statistical sense, and far exceeded any other technique currently being used
by professionals or amateurs in the forecasting of earthquakes.
