That organization, if it does get running, would attempt to make progress in part by helping different individuals and groups around the world get various lifesaving type scientific projects better organized rather than by trying to compete with everyone. It has been in the planning stage for perhaps a decade. There is no mention of earthquakes in its proposed name which I would prefer not to mention at this time. And there is probably no point in saying any more about it at the moment as it does not yet exist and might not even ever exist. I will also point out that almost anyone can create their own organization like that. There is certainly no shortage of life threatening problems around the world which need to be solved.
