REVERSE FFA watch zones - Re: Sunday Bible School - Okay, You're On

Hi Joy:

Thanks for the comments. I may look into further when I get a few spare minutes. (BTW, I was referring to a physical pole shift ...or more precisely a physical slipping of the lower mantle relative to the outer core to try and figure a way as to how the scenario may have happened...without upsetting too much of the
momentum of the outer core/inner core, etc. and meeting the observation that no earthquakes seemed to have happened also...{suggesting a low to no friction coupling between the lower mantle and outer core. { I think I mistakenly used inner core before instead of outer core...} )

Regarding the Big Island near Kileauea that is poised to either slip or crash into the Pacific:
One method used to pre-empt avalanches is to clear the area and use cannon fire to trigger the avalanche on your own timetable not mother nature's. If the land is that suspect then maybe soembody ought to start thinking about chipping away at it using explosives, etc. after clearing the areas effected out first.

The choice is to wait and let mother nature do it in a "surprise fashion" or "bite the bullet" up front and "get it out of the way with explosives".
Tsunami size may hopefully scale to explosives used size...and therefore somewhat, one would hope, controllable.

Another option is to move to higher ground or just move period. It always amazes me as to how people just want to keep sticking around an area even with all the dangers....(oops...looks like I just walked on about halfd the people in CA :)

Best of Luck with that situation,

p.s. (REVERSE FFA ZONE WATCH IDEA: you could also use Roger's ringmap program and plug in that location (Big Island) as a quake epicenter. Then be alert to quakes happening in the outer rings and especially at the antipode (and angles less than 103 degs.) This might...just maybe...give you a heads up that something might be shaking soon...if you subscribe to the FFA paradigm).
