The southern Sierra earthquakes are well outside of the contest area. The contest very specifically covers south of 35 N. These earthquakes are at 35.7 N. So, as farther outside of the area than the Baja 4.1 was.
I suppose I have to compile the (few) entries and respost them. But Lowell is looking good with his late window. Lowell said "you be the judge": I don't think Lowell's Coso comment is quite that on-we are 12 days after the main long-duration geomagnetic storm (and 8 or 10 days after the last storm), and I can't get back on the SCEC-USGS map, but I think the earthquakes are west of the usual Coso cluster, although not too far.
