You weren't the only one confused. After your post, I contacted some colleagues
at SCSN in Pasadena and told them of the two different lists. They were unaware
that this was the case, but checked into it for us. Sure enough, somehow in loading
a program, an old version had been loaded which did not inform USGS of new events.
So there were two different versions for a while a USGS and a local version. The
problem has now been corrected and the new lists from the two sources should
be identical.
Your observation helped alleviate considerable confusion. Thanks.
