Hi Michael,

I think I'm at about 200 ft above sea level and the mountain at that location is about 1500 ft or a little more.

Now you can see when I say that I am very close to my study area, the Rodgers Creek Fault, I am indeed very close.

While the photo of the snow may be a once in a lifetime event, the sunrise over the top most days is truly spectacular. Just on the other side of the mountain 4 miles NE is where the 4.2 quake occurred in 1999. I can drive there in about 12 minutes. If it ever lets off more than that this entire area is going shake like the dickens.

I think I'm ready, but not positive about that.
