Happy Thanksgiving!

One afternoon hundreds of years ago a group joined together to have a buffet dinner that today we celebrate as both a family and friends event. Little did those pilgrims know how important that buffet meal would be. Today, it comes in many forms and mine shall be a little different than normal as well. But enjoyable none the less. And Dyan, I will not be on the fault lines today for sure or mowing my lawn, I want the neighbors to have some peace. Although when I do mow at least they smile a lot.

I've had some unusual problems of late like when I was replacing the light bulb under the microwave and it broke off in the socket. One lady told me to stick a potato up there and turn, then I found out I could be electrocuted doing that. Ummm Then I couldn't figure out how to open the garage door opener box to get a new battery in there, so I took it to work and was going to give it to the computer man and found out at the last minute where to pull and sure enough I got it open and changed the battery. The most perplexing though was when I was trying to figure out if I had enough oil in my car, gosh, I took that dip stick out at least a dozen times, couldn't decide and went ahead and put a quart of oil in, just in case.

When the pilgrims had their first turkey I think they barbequed it and I wonder if they liked the taste of turkey. I wonder about many things in life and find as always, I have more questions than answers, but it keeps life interesting, constantly learning, developing and becoming in the end whatever everyone in life becomes, the total of their experience here.

Today my freedom is at hand much like that of the pilgrims of the past and I plan on enjoying my time making way for the time ahead when I can truly be everything I wish to be. The millennium is just around the corner and when the 2000th year arrives new vista's will greet me and I won't mind viewing the world from a whole new perspective.

I wish you all a great day....Pat
