Re: SFB Contest Winner |
WaHoo! Of course with me nothing is ever plain and simple. There's a little story about the whistles that I've got to share with you. Last Saturday Don and I were out and about in Petaluma and on our way to the Big 5 store where we were going to obtain some whistles something odd occurred. About 3 blocks before we got there suddenly he had a problem with the brakes on his car. The good news is that the tire store where he had the brakes were installed before is in the same shopping center as the Big 5 store. So we headed right on over. Their man that could have done the work left early that day with the flu and his tool box was locked, so they sent us off to Rohnert Park for the brake job. Needless to say, we never made it to Big 5 to buy the whistles. Hardly an omen, but interesting. But another interesting thing I'll share with you as you went down this road with me several months ago is that the light bar on my stereo system went out this week. As you will recall the dealership installed 4 units in my car before I got one to work, including the insults that I should not put my CD's in upside down. So I found if I hit it with my fist it comes back on. No matter, I'll do without the light bar for a good long while before I'll take it back to the dealership. I'm not up to that kind of service again. LOL But as this win truly was unexpected, I'll renew the offer for a whistle for the winner of the Southern CA earthquake contest. May the win be a speedy one. Petra Follow Ups: ● Re: SFB Contest Winner - Cathryn 15:56:32 - 4/28/2002 (15307) (0) |
