I will poke my nose into this site from time to time just to keep you guys on the
straight and narrow - so beware you never know who is lurking out there.
The main reason for my inability to continue my work with the board is a potential
conflict of interest as I move from my current position with NOAA to a private
consultant position. As a private consultant, I'm afraid I would have to charge
for advice, something I can now do for free.
Nevertheless, I will provide a freebie from time to time just to keep the interest
up in triggering and earthquake forecasting.
I am sure Don would do a fine job with the board, however he wishes to proceed.
But don't pressure him, make sure you talk to him when he has a Corona beer,
and a garlic sandwich nearby.
