southern California less quiet |
The USGS map of seismicity for California is looking more normal for southern California (I'd been calling this the SCEC map since I access it via SCEC). But, these scattered EQs are all smaller than M3-and I think it has been quite a while since the last SOCAL 3+. I won't judge or participate, but it might be fund to guess where and when the first M3 or larger south of 35 deg lat, and within California, will occur. If it is simple: just larger than 3 and a location, then it may be easier to judge.....
