Thanks for that movie, Michael. Just barely see the flare at then end, but it is there.
I don't think we know enough about the interaction yet to tell why California sometimes
reacts to these flares with a profound quiet period, and other times reacts with
very strong seismicity. The one thing that seems likely is that the seismicity does not
stay the same after a flare or geomagnetic storm.
