My non-quantitative perusals (is that word?) of the SCEC map gives me the impression that California is still quieter than average right through the magnetic storms-even considering the M3 at San Juan Bautista today or last night (there is another storm starting now). Almost all of the activity has been at geysers and near San Juan Buatista (creeping section San Andreas). The activity that Lowell refers to in California only stands out because of the exceptional quiet that we have seen the last week.
