A friend told me that their business' warehouse in near Long Beach has been flooded with ants for no reason. There is no food or water and has never been a problem before. Also the numbers are huge! At our house, conversely, atop the world's largest anthill (or I may be dreaming a little) we had not seen a one in the last 10 days - 2 weeks. Highly unusual for us. Also Chantry Flats has crept, possibly to the top again. Could we be in for another?
