Responsible Forecasting : Dutiful Don

Hi All,

As a good friend of Don's and also one who is objective, I think when I say we all have a lot of respect for him, would be a true statement. He doesn't mess around when it comes to making his forecasts. Most of you have no idea at all how much time he spends doing his research, but I can honestly say, it's a lot of hours a day.

But another thing Don does, is to keep an open mind to other methods and does find reason to believe there is something to these ear tones I and many others like me, experience. More than once, one of us have made a report and when checking into his scientific method he finds that we often lead him to look at a location he might not have looked at before. On some occasions he has used this ear tone data along with his own scientific method to prepare forecasts. And the good news is that they do work well together.

Whether the Bay Area has a 6.0 or greater, earthquake I'd like to say, here and now, I don't know of anyone else who is more qualified to make such a forecast. It doesn't mean he's going to get it just perfect, but he works harder than any of us in trying to get an edge on a subject which seems to most, impossible.

This is a time when I can be of no use to him at all. I can't hear large earthquakes in close proximity to my location. I do get other symptoms, but they come at the last moment, often within hours of the earthquakes arrival. Far to short a time to make a forecast. So with this one, he's hanging ten all on his own.

I see a lot of support for him in this particular endeavor and I hope you also know, though he'll never tell you so, he will spend some time worrying about what might happen if the earthquake arrives. You can't stop them, that's for sure, and he's not a publicity seeker, so his word won't get out any further than the words uttered here to friends who know others in the Bay Area.

While I lost my picture the other day from the weather, tonight I spent some quality time taking down my breakables, just some last minute preparation. I don't know if he will be right, but I've seen enough of his successes to act like it was coming tomorrow. If you live in the Bay Area, don't forget to do your preparation. It can't hurt whether the quake arrives or not.

As we all know being right in these situations, means two things; first you hope you have it correct show you can demonstrate this method works, secondly, is the down side. If it does work, that means there is the possibility of property damage, injuries and even loss of life. It's a double edge sword.

Cowboy Don, you've got my support......Petra
