Update. Bay Area Earthquake Advisory

Hi All. Just thought you would like to see what has gotten the old gray cells to working overtime. As you can see there are 13 locations on the list of probabilities. The last post I made for this area had 10.

As far as I can tell at this point the faults that are going to be affected are the San Andreas from Portola Valley to a little north of Bolinas. The Rodgers Creek fault from San Pablo Bay to Santa Rosa. The Hayward fault from Fremont to San Leandro. The Calaveras fault from San Jose to Pleasanton.

Keep in mind that there are other faults in the area that have had quakes on them in the past, but these four faults appear to be the ones that most likely will be affected.

Also keep in mind that there won’t be quake at every location listed. My feeling is that there could one strong quake or a couple of moderate ones, none at all as there are times that with this much data it can cancel out the overall affects.

As more data becomes available I will post. Take Care…Don in creepy town
