Re: I Cast My Nomination For |
Hi Canie: The problem with email transfer of data is that it is slow, requires somebody to write a script to retrieve the email from a POP account and file into a file in the correct format, and it is possible it may get lost, although unlikely. Another roadblock is that both earthwaves and the eqpr will require username/passwords, and one assumes that they won't be that same. Maybe what might work is a two step process. The predictor files the prediction on eqpr (a PERL script), and then is given the oppurtunity to file a duplicate copy, in earthwaves format, with all the fields pre-populated, using the earthwaves script (wwwboard.pl). The only thing you would have to do is allow my earthwaves form to run your script, which I can show you how to do if you are not familiar with it. I don't seem to have your email address around so why don't you email me at michael@dinepath.com and we can take this discussion off the board .... Michael
The idea I've come up with is Follow Ups: ● location of registry - Roger Hunter 15:42:10 - 4/5/2002 (14650) (1) ● Re: location of registry - michael 16:49:20 - 4/5/2002 (14654) (1) ● Re: location of registry - Roger Hunter 17:37:53 - 4/5/2002 (14664) (0) |
