Hi Lowell, Roger. Just a couple of comments here. The quake forecast for Santa Rosa included the geysers area because of the radius I used. However the quake that occurred was 3 miles from Santa Rosa. My forecast was 7 miles from Santa Rosa and to a certain degree away from the geysers.

As there is a geothermal plant there, there is a chance that some of the quakes are man caused. Not intentionally, but one of the by-products of using geothermal energy. A human evaluating the forecast/prediction could take this into account where as a computer not programmed for this won’t.

Using a computer to evaluate a forecast/prediction is a darn good idea, but does have its drawbacks. Take Care…Don in creepy town
