Looks like that Geomagnetic Strom really did the trick

After a strong surge in global seismicity (including 4 Ms>6 earthquakes) and in regional seismicity in the western U.S. following the geomagnetic storm on March 24, a very strong quiet period has ensued. It would appear that most of the events that were available for triggering have done so and a period of several days is now needed for strain to build up again. California is especially quiet where no earthquakes of Ml>2 have occurred within the state since the Bombay earthquake on March 27 - more than 1.5 days of complete quiet for the state. You can compare this with the 21 earthquakes of Ml>2 that occurred in that state on the day following the commencement of the geomagnetic storm.
