Thought you would be interested in the results of Don's last forecast for New
Zealand.
He had forecast an event on March 18 +/- 2days within 65 km of 40.0S 176.8E
of Ml 3.0-4.3. An earthquake did occur in that vicinity on March 18, but slightly
out of the 65 km radius with Ml 3.8. QED gives the following data on this
event:
2002/03/18 16:22:08.6 38.9 S 177.8 W 37 ML 3.8 NORTH ISLAND, NEW ZEALAND.

There were a lot of unusual events in the nearby area including several of M>5
during the time window, not at all common for that region of New Zealand, although
they do occur from time to time.
