I understand your logic and commend it (and no, I don't expect to remain in the lead for long. Surely one of Don's predictions will soon eclipse mine, as he IS the best earthquake predictor in the world.)

There are many variables in evaluating a prediction, and I think you've done a fine job of separating them out in terms of relevance. In fact, I'm in awe of statistical ability.

My only question is this: Why have some people shortened their windows within the one-week window that Lowell called for? I thought we were all bound to the one-week time period. Am I mistaken?
