The Saturday Review

Hi All,

The World is round, but somehow people keeping thinking we ought to go straight all the time. I was thinking about lightning this morning and how little I know about it. Sometimes when you're in an active storm the appearances seem almost shocking and I guess it is because those who have been struck by it and survived, say it's a real shocking experience. I wonder if its like sticking your finger in a light socket?

I see Windsor had a mini earthquake this morning. I heard the ear tone for that last night and this morning I had this mental visual of what I might look like if I had little red light bulbs in my ears and every time I heard an ear tone the light bulbs would flash? People would say, look at her, she's hot today. But it might look like Bozo in the cartoon, only backwards.

Don says he's going to get me a WWII army helmet so that the gravity from the Moon won't rearrange my brains anymore than they have been. I wonder what he means by that? Is he trying to say I'm a scatter brain or my brains are scattered?

This week started with a group of quakes going down the SAF and thoughts surfaced about a quake at Parkfield. Go figure, I'm here, it's there, its Saturday and my chances of being eaten by a dog are almost nil, but the chances of Parkfield having a quake are far better because I'm not there now. Talk about random nothingness.

One thing for sure, there is to much seriousness in earthquake prediction, but every now and then something funny happens. Dishes fly out of cupboards and suspend in mid air, folks are pushed and pulled by gravitation forces previously unknown and yours truly is always at the airport when the quake boat comes in.

Happy Saturday. Did I forget to say I'm back? Nah.
