Because this is a discussion board, it is bound to be a bit disorganized. One person
raises a question which is then discussed. There actually is some rhyme and
reason to it. Forecasters are expected to use a prescribed form for making earthquake
forecasts. The form was agreed on after lengthy discussion and is fairly consistently
used by those making predictions. A string is started and then followed up on. There
is a search mechanism for locating items of interest throughout the board, and
all material is archived for future reference.

There are also sub-boards, for example for registering an ear tone.

It does take a bit of getting used to. If you would like to make some suggestions
regarding better ways of organizing the material, I am sure we would be happy
to consider them.

Welcome aboard, by the way, Michael. I am just one of many posters here.
We have a combination of professionals and amateurs and we try to get along
as well as possible. I don't believe you could call this a clique as any idea is
welcome as well as any new poster. The only thing that is usually not met
with a dignified response is a personal attack. Attacks should be directed at
ideas not people.
