In writing a daily report, it is necessary to use the material at hand at the end of the day.
This means that when networks are closed for weekends or other activities, those
reports are delayed usually until about Tuesday before they can be incorporated into
the report.

The 22-year cycle is the complete solar cycle between magnetic reversals on the sun -
it is also coincidentally the period which has been suggested for a repeat of the
Parkfield characteristic quake and double the rotational period of the planet Jupiter.

The sun rotates at different speeds at different latitudes ranging from about 35
days to about 27 days. Sunspots begin in the high latitudes early in the solar
cycle and migrate towards the equator during the course of the solar cycle, so
there are times when the return time of a coronal hole or a sunspot might coincide
with the period of lunar revolution about the earth, but this will occur only briefly
and under special circumstances. There is something called a butterfly diagram
which describes this. See the link below.

There was a book published in the 1970's called "The Jupiter Effect" which correlated
some of this stuff.

There is also a magazine called "Cycles" which does similar things.

Of course, it is possible to find things that correlate, the trick is to find if there
is any physics which might link the two into a true causal correlation. Babies
in the U.S. tend to be born preferentially when there are monsoons in India - is
there a causal effect, probably not, but there might be a reason for this which
is not direct.
