Parkfield/Coalinga Earthquake Advisory

Hi All. This isn’t an earthquake forecast per say, but is more like an advisory. Any one of the following locations could have a quake on or about the dates indicated.

35.3 -120.8 3 15 2002 2.0-3.0 - about 3Km SE of Los Osos

36.0 -120.8 3 17 2002 2.0-3.0 - about 10Km ESE of San Ardo

36.1 -119.9 3 18 2002 1.0-2.2 - about 30Km ESE of Coalinga

35.9 -120.4 3 10 2002 2.0-3.0 - about 1Km east of Parkfield

36.5 -120.1 3 15 2002 2.0-3.0 - about 35Km NNE of Coalinga

36.4 -120.4 3 17 2002 2.0-3.0 - about 35 Km NNW of Coalinga

My chief concern isn’t with a single quake. What the data is telling me is that this area starting about 03/13/2002 and ending 03/20/2002 (using current data) is going to be unstable during this time period.

This is the first time I have seen this high of concentration of data. There are any numbers of variables that can happen ranging from a major quake to the data canceling itself out.

In as much as I hate doing this I’m going to sit back, put my heels up and watch to see what happens. Take Care…Don in creepy town
