Html questions for Canie |
Hi Canie, I am aware that you are doing some traveling. So, answer these questions at your leisure (if you see them and can find time to answer them). I believe that in past notes you briefly referred to these types of topics. However, not being an Internet Web site design expert I myself did not understand exactly what you were saying. (1) Is there a way that we can place multiple Web site addresses in the text of these posts so that they will appear as active addresses which people can simply click on to activate? I know that one address can be included with the data entry line towards the end of the data entry screens. (2) Is there a way that we can do that with Web site images such as GIF files stored at other Web sites so that the images will automatically display when a person reads a post? I have seen some of your notes which contained Ring Map images. So I know that there is a process for displaying at least some types of images. However I am not certain if you somehow stored that information in a normal post or if you had to do that manually and then use FTP to upload the note to your Web site. If it is possible to easily include active addresses like that in posts could you provide us with a few examples of how that is done? Finally, on behalf of many of the people who post notes here or who simply visit this bulletin board I believe that I can say, “Many thanks. And keep up the good work.” Follow Ups: ● One way to place active Web links in your posted note - EQF 21:15:26 - 3/7/2002 (13495) (0) ● Proposed earthquake forecasting research library - EQF 18:50:50 - 3/4/2002 (13430) (0) ● Re: Html questions for Canie - Canie 15:10:50 - 3/4/2002 (13427) (0) ● It Worked!!! - bobshannon.org 14:03:23 - 3/4/2002 (13422) (0) ● Re: Html questions for Canie - bobshannon.org 14:01:07 - 3/4/2002 (13421) (1) ● Re: Html questions for Canie - bobshannon.org 14:10:11 - 3/4/2002 (13425) (1) ● Re: Html questions for Canie - EQF 15:30:28 - 3/4/2002 (13429) (1) ● Magic of Digital - bobshannon.org 03:30:43 - 3/5/2002 (13438) (1) ● Re: Magic of Digital - EQF 13:03:09 - 3/5/2002 (13439) (2) ● Re: Magic of Digital - bobshannon.org 12:39:16 - 3/6/2002 (13453) (0) ● Re: Magic of Digital - bobshannon.org 12:38:22 - 3/6/2002 (13452) (0) |
