Hi 2 cents and all. I have the feeling that what were seeing in and around that area is a normal occurrence based on the known cause of earthquakes. The area where this slow quake occurs is an area where these isn't much resistance to compression. It reaches a point where it won't compress anymore then ever so gradually it returns to its normal position. When it reach's a point that what is causing the compression won't allow a gradual return will be the most likely time for a major quake. It may take years for that to occur, but based on this 15-month cycle it may be one of a couple of indications of a major quake in the offering. This not to say that there can't, or won't be a major quake at another location removed from the area of this gradual return to its normal position. Anyway it's something to think about.
