Hi Lowell. This is just speculation, but if I were a moderate to large quake looking for a place to happen it would be around the Parkfield/Coalinga area over the next 10 days.

There is nothing at any of the USGS data sites for Parkfield at present time. I have only seen dilational strain there once that was associated with a 3.3Ml quake. Took about 24hrs from start to finish before the quake occurred.

There is what appears to be some ELF build up at Coalinga, but have a feeling this is an equipment problem. Guess we just have to wait and see. Take Care…Don in creepy town
