New Solar flare in progress

A strong flare M6+ has just occurred on the sun. The flare reached maximum about
10 minutes ago at about 6:50 p.m. PST. Seismicity associated with the flare is likely
to concentrate in longitudes within about 20-30 degrees longitude of sub-solar (Japan,
West Irian - 135-140E) and along the central Atlantic region.
