Re: Regarding ear tone data

I only send my tones to Don, as I believe he has a methodology that works and is consistent. I also know that with three "ear tone people" reporting to him, he can triangulate the input, which helps him pinpoint location and intensity.

Here is the format I created as a macro, that I send to Don when I hear a tone:

Date:

Time:

Ear:

Duration:

Pitch:

Loudness (or volume):

Direction facing:

Special Features:

I have "loose" knowledge of how all those onion and garlic sandwiches work, but the intracacies are scientifically beyond me because I refuse to drink Corona. Don, give me a real beer, and I might be more of help.

I don't post my tones to the board, or to anyone else, simply because I don't have the time.

I also like the idea of giving only Don the information so there aren't a number of researchers trying to simultaneous make sense of what I hear. There may be no sense, but if there is, I trust Don to find it.

BTW, when is Lowell coming back? I miss his input.
