Okay - let me be a lawyer about this.

(1) I can understand why Petra is upset. Maybe it's because this is a little bit of a closed community that operates on respect - which is probably the final word with regard to the rules.

(2) However, aren't we here to share information for the sake of dissemination and understanding? Accordingly, it appears to further the interest of the board that the information be disseminated.

(3) Disclosure is key and at all times anyone using given information should disclose the purpose for which they are APPROPRIATING the information and to where it's going.

(4) Finally, recognition, in the event of progess in science need be given so that contributors feel that their efforts are worthy and will be motivated to continue to contribute to such findings.

Oh my God - what the hell did I just say? I didn't say anything. That's cause I'm a lawyer. (I've infected myself! Don - I'm there with ya!)
