Re: Ear Tone Match 3.8 Off Northern California Coast |
Hi 2 Cents, Yes, there are several places in Southern, CA which I have ear tones waiting for matches. But I'm setting aside actual predictions under our new research program. Our current approach is the log the ear tones and find the correct matches by using our new distance calculation system. Once that has been established, then we can move into the next segment which will provide us a better understanding as to which geology matches the sound, the windows and later the correct magnitudes. In other words we have to go backward just a bit before we can make some assured success in the future. With the distance calcultion method we are considerably more certain as to what general area we should be expecting matching quakes, but it is that, to general. In the last group of messages that have just been archived I did indicate that I've had a number of ear tones that may be related to 29 Palms. But so far, no results yet. Believe you me, this stuff takes a lot of patience. I think in the formative stages of any research project you have to use some caution and I don't wish to alarm anyone, so its better just to keep working with the current program and then progress as results are achieved. We have to remember it takes scientists years sometimes to make a serious conclusion about hypotheses and so I too will join them in working more seriously and more cautiously. Cathryn and I have discussed a number of times hearing ear tones that indicate a very ominous earthquake in the making in Central California, but neither one of us have jumped out and made any prognostications about those sounds. Its a good thing to, because nothing has developed as of yet. Thanks to the new ring map program a lot of progress in matching tones to locations has been achieved. I am very happy with the results, but it took a few years to finally come up with this ever so simple idea.
