Hi Petra. You’re welcome. Now that you know what it should look like I won’t have to explain it to you all the time. Of course I will miss explaining it to you. I always enjoy watching your eyes rotate with one going clockwise and other anticlockwise with the one in the middle of your head staring at me when you started getting annoyed with me. I think it’s cute how you do that.

If you will notice they have most of the monitors along the San Andreas fault covering the “seismic gap” from Los Gatos to Point Arena although the one at Point Arena hasn’t been installed yet. They are also going to install the next one in Petaluma, but no word on when this will happen.

They finely moved the one in Hayward, but as you can see BART is still having an affect on the monitor, but not at the same level as the other one. The way the other one was being affected by BART you could have a 7.0M quake building and you would never know it.

The one located in Hollister on Fairview Road is about 2 miles east of the Calaveras fault and about 4 miles west of the Quien Sabe fault. Both faults of capable of a 6.5M or greater quake. Have no idea as to how you will know which fault it is indicating unless it’s by orientation (N-S, E-W, Vert.)

They don’t know for sure if it’s going to work or not as they haven’t seen a quake associated with the data. At least that is the impression I get from Tom. Take Care…Don in creepy town
