Eartones and lightening

Just a couple of observations.

Just after sunset the evening of the swarm of quakes to hit the Northridge/Simi Valley area, I witnessed what appeared to be a lightening
strike. Specifically, I was looking South/Southeast from my backyard in
Bouquet Canyon, Santa Clarita. There was no remarkable weather - i.e.
clouds, wind, excessive heat. There was a blue flash that appeared about 15 miles away and in the direction of the pass coming through the 5
freeway to Santa Clarita. I mentioned it to my wife. Later that night we had the swarm of quakes hit the area.

The "lightening" was blue, one flash, and it was difficult to tell exactly where it occurred from. Further, there was no "boom" or thunder following the flash.

Eartones - high pitched about 9khz (?) - have been abundant lately and occurring with some regular frequency. As well, everyone - my wife,
daughter and I - have been experiencing headaches. These headaches are somewhat severe and debilitating (i.e. gotta lay down and rest now type).

Sometimes I get ringing in my ears after using asprin. Apsrin is the only cause I have had to cause such ringing. I had not used asprin for
approximately 8 days prior to the ringing. The ringing is sudden and extreme and lasts for approximately 3 minutes. It will shift in tone -
high to mid range ringing.

Re: the headaches - I wonder whether it could be something household -
i.e. new cleaner, diet, pet hair, dust etc. Except for the extreme Santa Anas, there haven't been any such remarkable changes. Further, these
events - headaches/ear tones - have been happening around the Santa Anas.

I'm visiting this site again because of the association of these items. I figure it doesn't hurt to put out the feelers and share some information with others.

Take care.

Tony
