However, what If he is "zeroing in" on something which science has failed to do "due diligence" on...in following things up ?

I think on face value "a scientist" may wish to "slam the door" on this method.... But maybe... it's better to leave the door "slightly cracked open" on the outside possibility that some unappreciated phenomena is going here which does not fit any current models/theory.

Of course, Roger did some analysis of Shan's predictions and found that the areas specified were too large ...leading to predictions that were not that useful. Maybe it's just a case of doing more work...in order to statistically judge it either way....
