Right on all counts Chris - They did issue a warning right after the Hector quake since some quakes were triggered down in the Salton Sea area. The issue was watered down a bit by 'the top brass' - There was a problem with including the word 'concern' in the warning so it was X'd out of the warning.

My personal opinion on the matter is that if I see ANY type of quake warning come out of the state emergency center I'm going ot take it seriously!
