Yes...I had to pause on that myself.

The vertical axis numbers are the depth (km).

The horizontal numbers are the length along the fault line (km) in an east to west direction going through the epicenter (not shown in lower graph but still there).

The blue color is high resistance and the red is very low resistance (in top graph).

In the lower graph the color represents the type of zone:

Kg = Salinian granite
Tms = Monterey shale
Tsm = Santa Margarita formation
Tbw = Bitterwater Creek Shale
DZ = Damaged zone

The DZ is shown to extend down vertically from the epicenter. It is also not that wide. I'm not too sure how they derived the shape and extent of the DZ....
