Hi Petra. Boy! You and your short notice adventures. True the quake could occur early, but not that early. Even if it did it would have to be a lot closer to Parkfield in order for us to feel it.

A thought just came to mind. I think the reason you want to go down there is to find more rocks for me lug around. I’m getting wise to your little tricks. It seems to me the last time we took a trip you had me bring home half of the Sierra Nevada’s.

However if you want to go your going to have to see if they have some rooms for us. There is no way I’m going to sleep in the back of my vehicle while you sleep in a nice warm room at the inn. Unless of course you are going to sleep in the back of my vehicle while I sleep in the room.

I can just see Petra now. She’s banging on the door “Saying Don. It’s cold out here. Can we trade places just for tonight?” Of course Old Don knows it’s going to be just as cold the next night. Of course Petra knows that Old Don can’t stand to see, or hear a lady in distress so she will apply some pressure such as teeth chattering, knees knocking and so forth. Then if that doesn’t work she will raise her voice so everyone can hear her telling him that he’s a cold, heartless, unfeeling person who cares only about himself. Of course by now Don knows he isn’t going to get any sleep with the racket Petra is making so he might just as well let her have the room.

Petra knows I’m teasing her, as she will have the room before I even get a chance to get in it and lay claim to the bed.

If you want to go you had better call the Inn and make reservations for us. Take Care…Don in creepy town
