This was taken from the NEIC catalog. The first part is from 1735 to 1974. The second part is from 1973 to present. As to the gap between 1969 and 1982 I have no idea as to the reason for this. I really doubt that there wasn't a quake anywhere within 10 miles of the epicenter during that time period.
