Good find Don! It appears to be a separate study, as the one I referenced was done by Rui Ponte of Atmospheric and Environmental Research Inc. of Cambridge, Mass., and scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The one Don referenced was done by Richard S. Gross from NASA. Richard Gross's study shows "that the principal cause of the Chandler wobble is fluctuating pressure on the bottom of the ocean, caused by temperature and salinity changes and wind-driven changes in the circulation of the oceans." According to his study, although the ocean currents are not a major factor, they do indeed contribute to the wobble effect.
