Hi Lowell,

While I am in support of geomagnetic triggering, in regard this earthquake it seems whatever was causing this fault to break was already in presence before the geomagnetic event arrived. I say this because I had an ear tone for the area the prior evening (12/27/01 8:03PM PST). However, as Don has explained to me time and again, and in his forecasts, the geomagnetic effect could either increase the size of the quake, or bring it to fruition earlier.

As you know, I have had a lot of trouble with the timing mechanism in understanding how long it takes for earthquakes to arrive after hearing an ear tone. In many cases, the local quakes arrive earlier than quakes at a distance, but this is not always the case, ie: the Nisqually 2/28/01 the tone arrived 2 ½ hours prior. However, in documenting events prior to earthquakes which have a match, solar events are now included as part of the research. Also one can do the reverse in understanding why earthquakes do not arrive following an ear tone. When one considers the FFA effect, a fault that might have been ready to go, may not because something else occurred which halted the action.

I find it very interesting when considering the history of the Earth in relationship to earthquakes that solar events and people hearing ear tones are as old as the planet and mankind. There truly is nothing new on Earth that was not here in the beginning and yet modern science refuses to accept that these two do play an active role in acknowledgment that they are: 1. A precursor and 2. An advance warning.

Ah, but who wishes to challenge current doctrine? Most likely not one from the inside and yet one must ask, if shown by one from the outside is it then ridiculed until one from the inside can say the same thing using a different language? When one wishes to present a theory, a new idea, a new plan of attack on any given matter, intelligence is not found in presenting the answers themselves, but is found in asking the questions.

Not wishing to be insulting, I am in one court and geo-scientists for the most part are in another. I will for all time, ask this one simple question. What is the value of a human life? Science will answer, we must have data, something firm to stand on before we consider your question. This answer I find unacceptable and therefore for me is used as a catalyst to demonstrate that something as fundamental as longevity should not have to be questioned in the first place. God told Noah a flood was coming and to prepare. He did not question what he heard, though he was highly ridiculed. Today, we are saying, earthquakes are coming and one should prepare. But the fact that we know they are coming because these other precursors are already in existence, should be given consideration.

As I've said numerous times before, it is a simple thought process of negative versus positive. I am absolutely positive that if science continues in on its current course, earthquake prediction will not arrive. However, if one wishes to open the door and view the vista beyond and take in all that is there, one could be positive in saying that the threshold to a resolution to earthquake prediction could be obtained.

Let us no longer throw rocks at the Moon from the dark forest, but open the door to the possibility that someone, somewhere can live a little longer because someone opened the door and realized the elements for success are already here.
