Is Front Range Community College near you? They offer a certification course in GIS at the Westminster Campus. Its not too late to start spring semester. :-)

Tuition is pricey in Colorado (You might even be eligable for the senior discount!) - we pay about $11 per unit plus a number of additional charges in California - it looks to average about $80 a unit in CO. Steep. But there's always finacial Aid and discounts. It might be worth looking into.
